The Effect of a Massage
The massage provides deep, meditative relaxation. It improves your body's energy balance.
The effect of our treatment is that you'll feel completely relaxed and energetic again. Many people suffer from a stiff neck, lower back pain, and tight muscles. Sometimes these complaints are caused by a monotonous or tense (work) posture. Think of sitting at a computer for long periods, for example, but sometimes muscles are also tense due to stress.
Health
Regular massage improves your general health and vitality.
Massage relaxes muscles, promotes healthy circulation and energy flow, and stimulates the lymphatic system, making it easier to remove waste products from the body. It improves skin problems such as cellulite.
De-stress
Massage brings a feeling of calm and influences the body.
The nervous system and hormonal system are brought into balance, allowing organs to function better. Blockages, in the form of local physical tension, are released more easily.
When do we advise against massage:
Also, keep in mind not to eat too much before having a massage; it's not pleasant to be massaged on a full stomach!
If you are unwell due to flu, a bad cold or other illness
Parts of the body that contain bruises, wounds, tumors, hernias or fractures should never be massaged
If you have athlete's foot and/or eczema
If you have a stomach ulcer and/or bruising
During the first three months of pregnancy.
